About the Compilation

This is a complete overhaul of the original Resident Evil 2 compilation. That original version had a number of problems including sloppy editing, quick cuts and a lot of missed things. But there were some other thing I did to this LP in particular:

1.) Aspect Ratio Correction

In one part of the LP the video is very tiny. I corrected this to match the rest of the LP.

2.) Audio Levels Correction

The audio levels aren't exactly consistent across the LP so I've changed them slightly to be more consistent. Not perfect but close enough. This was their first LP. It was new territory.

3.) Audio Sync Correction

The biggest change to this update is the fact I corrected the audio sync problem they had in the original uploads. For a majority of the Claire A scenario, the commentary lags behind what is happening on screen. For the first few episodes the delay isn't too noticeable (a second or less) , but it eventually becomes extremely obvious there's a problem as the LP goes on.

From 08:10 (when Claire gets bitten by the hallway zombie) to 17:50 (when Pat dies after the Licker attack in the lab) the sync correction varies between 3-5 seconds. So what you'll see is the commentary matches up with the screen, but the game audio will lag behind instead. From 08:10 to 17:50 don't listen to the game audio, because now their commentary is matched with the screen.

16:18 is a really good example of why this is important. During the Birkin fight on the descent to the lab, for some reason Pat starts having difficulty navigating the menu. However in the videos with the sync problem, it's difficult to even see what Pat's struggling with because he starts complaining after the problem has already been resolved on screen.
