In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to model a plastic stool in SolidWorks step by step.
Here’s the process we’ll cover:
Extrude a boss with draft to form the main body
Cut sweep a recess on the corner and use circular pattern to repeat it
Add fillets for smooth edges
Extrude a base on the bottom
Apply the Shell tool to hollow the stool
Cut the leg profile and use a circular pattern feature to repeat it
Finally, cut holes on the seat for the finished design
