A look at some dutch club nintendo magazines

Описание: A video about the european version of nintendo power magazine, wich was called "club nintendo". The magazine was identical for different countries, and each region had it's own translatation. The magazine was created at the UK nintendo branch and was localized for each langauage region.

The design of the magazine was a bit tacky, and it was basically a clever form of kids advertising. The magazine featured reviews of games (never critical), tips and tricks, player's profiles and highscores. Sometimes the magazine would have some goofy mario comic strips as well.

The magazine ran from 1989 until the end of 1992, from 1993 each country would make their own club magazine. Although the magazine was the same for different languages, they featured some local pages in the middle of the magazine as well. Like the gameboy photo holiday competion in the 6th issue of 1992, wich was in the dutch edition.
