In Part 1 of our trip myself and Robby hit our first 2 Counties of 9. We started out with Co. Kildare and Co. Meath in the first part of the day. Kildare was hard to find a spot but we ended up in a place callled Carnalway in Brannockstown. Parking is just after the bridge but limited and you cross the road back to the bridge and there is a trail down to the area we got in.
Onwards to Co. Meath to Gormanston Beach. We parked past the bridge but were quickly told to get back - no signs on the bank at the part we pulled up to but he put signs down aftewards. So paking is before the bridge on the left hand side. Tide was out and low so we walked out to about 2-3 feet deep and got the dunk in - beach is nice but there is also military warning signs there so be sure to watch for the flag.
We planned to go to Blackrock in Louth but the tide had different ideas and was miles out so we skipped it and had to try find somewhere else.
