Accelera by Cummins: Leading Zero-Emission Tech with Electrolysers, Fuel Cells, and E-Mobility

Dennis explains that Accelera is a zero-emission brand within the Cummins Group, known for its internal combustion engines. Accelera focuses on zero-emission technologies, including electrolyser solutions, fuel cell solutions, and e-mobility. Their mission is to support customers in transitioning to decarbonisation by offering various solutions to move from fossil fuel-based industries to decarbonised ones. Recently, Accelera inaugurated a new factory in Guadalajara, Spain, with a capacity of 500MW, expandable to 1GW, to produce electrolysers for the European market.

Dennis highlights that Accelera's new factory enables them to produce a 5MW electrolyser system for Europe, previously only available in North America. Accelera also offers fuel cell solutions for the mobility market, including trucks, buses, and trains, and provides electrification solutions such as inverters and electric engines. Their customers range from vehicle manufacturers to oil and gas companies and industrial gas producers, all investing in green hydrogen production. Accelera aims to build long-term partnerships with these customers, supporting their transition to sustainable energy solutions globally.
