I started off in the sheep shed with topping up the water in the individual pens. A shot of one of the Jacob lambs. I then helped a lamb get some milk as the Ewe has rejected it and is stopping it from eating. I filled up the trailer with feed and fed all the pens in the sheep shed.
I got two silage bales with the Manitou and put one of them in the Crossfire. I then topped up the silage along the feeding passage ways in the sheep shed. I then took a bale of silage for the cows and put it in the ring feeder.
Then onto putting fresh straw down in the sheep shed with the Manitou and Crossfire.
I hooked up the feed snacker onto the back of the Suzuki quad and went around all the fields with the ewes and lambs to drop feed for the ewes. When I got back I used the quad and trailer to move a ewe and her lambs to another shed. This ewe also does not like her lambs so we put them in a wooden pen that lets the lambs get milk.
Moving some more ewes and lambs out to a field last thing. Another great day today with amazing views and clear skies (we don't get many days like this in Scotland!).
