Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren arrived in Dhanbad today for a personal visit to offer his condolences. Upon his arrival at the airport, the Chief Minister was accorded a Guard of Honour by the district administration and warmly welcomed by senior officials.
Following the arrival formalities, CM Hemant Soren traveled to Baliapur to attend the Shradh ceremony (ritual rites) of Late Dr. Buddhadev Mahto, the younger brother of Sindri MLA Chandradev Mahto. Accompanied by his wife, Kalpana Soren, the Chief Minister paid a floral tribute to the departed soul and spent time with the grieving family, offering his prayers and support.
