Here’s how I reset after Christmas without punishing myself or doing the whole “new me” thing ✨
No detox teas, no cleanses, no guilt… just getting back into a rhythm that actually feels good.
• I go back to my normal meals 🍳 protein, healthy fats, fruit or sweet potato. No skipping breakfast or “making up for it.”
• I hydrate like it’s my full-time job 💧 minerals included because Christmas food and late nights are… a lot.
• I move gently 🚶♀️ fresh air, a walk, some stretching. Not to burn anything off, just to feel human again.
• I regulate my nervous system ☀️ slow morning, sunlight, deep breaths. Holidays are overstimulating for everyone.
• I restock my kitchen with real food so nourishing myself feels easy again 🥑
And honestly… I drop the guilt. One day or one weekend does not undo your progress. Your body does not need to be fixed. It just needs support and normal meals again.
This is the real reset. Simple, grounding, and actually doable.
