Volvo Trucks' Electronic Stability Program is designed to avoid rollovers and jack-knife situations. The system continuously monitors acceleration, steering wheel angle and wheel speed. When it detects a potential roll over, it automatically reduces engine power, regulates brake pressure for each individual wheel and increases overall stability, to ensure the truck and its trailer remain upright.
