Our societies suffer when women are harassed and pushed out of digital spaces and public debate. This is the goal of harassment, online violence or intimidation.
In the run up to this year’s International Women’s Day, the women’s rights committee of the European Parliament is putting this conversation in the spotlight.
Together with national parliaments and high-level representatives from across the European Union, policymakers and leading experts from media, academia and the tech sector will unpack how stereotypes, disinformation and online violence shape our lives - and what can be done about it.
