Описание: माना जाता हैं कि बाबा रामदेव जी का जन्म 1409 ई में हिन्दू कैलेंडर के मुताबिक भादवे की बीज (भाद्रपद शुक्ल द्वित्या) के दिन रुणिचा के शासक अजमल जी के घर अवतार लिया था. इनकी माता का नाम मैणादे था. इनके एक बड़े भाई का नाम विरमदेव जी था. तोमर वंशीय राजपूत में जन्म लेने वाले बाबा रामदेव जी के पिता अजमल जी निसंतान थे.

डाली बाई बाबा रामदेव की सगी बहन है। बाबा रामदेव पीर के जन्म सम्बंधित मामला राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय में गया जहा से फैसला मेघवाल समुदाय के पक्ष में हुआ। बाबा रामदेव मेघवाल है और वे सायर मेघवाल के पुत्र है।

Ramdevra Temple is dedicated to Ramdevji Baba, who was a Rajput, born in the Tomar Rajput Family back in the late 14th century. Ramdevji renounced his materialistic life and accepted sainthood very early in his life for serving the humankind. Legend states that he killed a demon and performed several miracles.

Why is Ramdevra famous?

A small village in Jaisalmer, Ramdevra's most popular destination is the esteemed Ramdevra Temple. The temple is the final resting place of Baba Ramdevji, a saint of the 14th Century who Hindus regard as the incarnation of Lord Krishna.

It is believed that Baba Ramdevji took samadhi (conscious exit from the mortal body) at Ramdevra in 1459 AD. After this, the Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner constructed the temple around his Samadhi. The temple is the eternal resting place of Baba Ramdevji, a saint of the 14th
