Описание: This is a SIRD online rehearsal session with SWO Philipp Rütsche, instructor for drum corps on Swiss Drumming & Classical Repertoire.

For more than 20 years, SWO Philipp Rütsche has been working as a drum instructor - responsible for the training of drummers throughout Switzerland - at the Military Music Competence Centre in Aarau. Since 2004 he has been developing the choreographies of the Swiss Army Central Band as drum major.

Within the framework of his many years of activity in the technical Commission of the Swiss Drummers‘ and Fifers‘ Association STPV, it is a matter of concern to him to provide the next generation of the Swiss drumming scene with a standardised and contemporary training. Since 2018, Philipp has been supporting the Avenches Tattoo in the function of Arena Master.

He has been the Artistic Director of the KMZ Marching Band in Zurich since 2000.

Philipp was one of the main organizers of the first International Rudimental Drummers' Symposium in Bern 2016. In 2018 he was elected to the Education Committee of the Society of International Rudimental Drummers (SIRD).
