ROKU® System AWM II consists of a fire protection collar designed to seal penetrations of combustible pipes.
The inside housing surface of the fire protection collar is lined with the intumescent building material ROKU® Strip. In the event of a fire, the material swells with high pressure (the so-called expansion pressure), thus sealing the structural opening and preventing the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases.
ROKU® System AWM II has a fire resistance class of up to EI 120 in accordance with EN 13501-2. It is approved for sealing combustible pipes up to an outside diameter of 400 mm. The pipes can be optionally wrapped with PE (polyethylene) acoustic foam insulation. Among the system’s many benefits is its ease of installation.
