Here in this sleepy-looking inlet of the sea on the Beara Peninsula in Southern Ireland we seen the framework of an intensive industry. The buoys in the sea all have a rope suspended on which Mussels cling, and breed. By Christmas they are ready for harvest and the ropes are brought it. Later videos will show the buoys and ropes being set out further down the bay.
Here we see the wonderful landscape and the odd Cormorant for the bird-lovers. Plus a work boat heading for the little jetty. at Ardgroom where we were staying.
