✝️ VERSE:
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. (MARK 16:17 KJV)

🌿 EXPLANATION:
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The Word of God declares that signs shall follow those who believe. The Lord Himself assures that in His name, believers will cast out devils and speak with new tongues.

A new tongue represents a renewed heart and transformed spirit. Once, your speech was guided by your human spirit, but now, the Spirit of God dwells within you. The Holy Spirit renews your words, making them gracious, pleasant, and filled with divine power.

The Bible says, “He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.” (Numbers 23:21) Within you dwells the Spirit of glory—the King of Kings lives in your earthen vessel! The words that flow from your heart are filled with His royal joy and presence.

When the heart is full, the mouth speaks. A drunkard speaks under the influence of wine, but you, beloved, are filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s why heavenly languages pour out of your mouth—languages of men, of angels, and of heaven itself. Apostle Paul said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all.” (1 Corinthians 14:18) He also taught that “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” (1 Corinthians 14:4)

Speaking in new tongues builds your spirit, strengthens your faith, and fills your life with divine wisdom. This heavenly gift brings sanctification, spiritual growth, and deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

The Lord said, “In my name shall they cast out devils.” The name of Jesus is not limited to pastors or preachers—it belongs to all who believe! The name of Jesus carries divine authority. Through that mighty name, demons flee, diseases vanish, and darkness is defeated.

When Jesus sent His disciples out, they returned joyfully saying, “Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” (Luke 10:17) The Lord replied, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow—of things in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10–11)

When a child says, “I will tell my father,” the wrongdoer trembles. Likewise, when we speak the name of Jesus, the enemy flees in fear. Demons tremble because Jesus has already crushed the head of the serpent on the cross. Children of God, victory is yours in His mighty name!

🙏 PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I thank You for the wonderful promise You have given me. Thank You for granting me the authority to cast out devils and speak in new tongues in Your name. Lord, renew my words, my speech, and my tongue, and make them gracious and life-giving. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that Your glory shines through my life. Let this new heavenly language strengthen my faith and activate the gifts and power of the Spirit within me. Help me to enjoy deeper fellowship with You and to walk in the authority of Your name. I will not fear the devil or the powers of darkness, for You have given me power to overcome all the enemy’s strength. Thank You, Lord, for the victory You have given me in Jesus’ name.
