Recapping was scheduled for this motherboard but it has an IDE connector on it on which a converter to 3.5" was soldered by the previous owner. I noticed this when I wanted to swap the disk with a compact flash version. I recently bought a Velleman desoldering iron which is working fine and wanted to check if I could desolder the IDE connector from the motherboard with.
This video shows my effort on achieving this but - spoiler alert - I didn't manage
