As I mentioned before in the previous boss fight, the only problem with the boss fights now is the ridiculous amount of HP they have. Colonel Richard is not a hard boss fight by any means, but this battle will definitely take its time.

Like always, make sure everyone has Clock Up EX for the remainder of this battle, Richard might actually be the fastest character in the game (other than possibly Lorence). And also, be sure to abuse Joshua's S - Break as much as you can, as soon as it hits 100 or 200 (you decide) or you see a Critical turn - USE IT.

To start off the Colonel summons two goons that are actually quite dangerous if left alone, and as such, should be the first priority in this battle. If you followed my Orbment Joshua should be able to attack both of them with White Gehenna (maybe even the Colonel as well), other than that have Olivier use Titanic Roar to slowly but surely get rid of them. Estelle should probably use Morale at least once to speed up this process, other than that she should be setting up Earth Walls like there is no tomorrow. Kloe should actually be doing quite a bit of healing, if any party member is around 1500 HP or less, I would recommend healing. If no allies are low on HP then Kloe should use Blue Impact on an enemy to deal some extra damage. Once both of the goons are gone, try to focus single Arts on Richard while being careful that everyone has an Earth Wall. You can also use Kloe's debuff on him for some extra damage.

Something to keep in mind is that after this battle everyone's HP and EP will be fully restored, so it does not matter when going into the next battle. But be warned, there are still two more battles and this does not apply to the second battle.
