They both also have a mass-hatred for the Protagonist for a much more petty reason (Gumball forgetting Rob’s Name/Miles throwing a Bagel at The Spot)

After finally meeting the Protagonist, post-incident, they vowed to become their Arch-Nemesises. With the Protagonist being completely uncaring of them due to their incompetence. Treating them like were some Rando Bad Guy.

Both also start as somewhat pathetic and struggling to do even petty crimes, but as soon as they get a boot in motivation, they become complete menaces to the fabric of reality itself

Eventually, they finally showed how Threatening they truly are to protagonist after obtaining/turning on a Technological Device, Causing a prophesied Death of the Protagonists loved-ones.
