In fact this Buick does feel decidedly more European thanks to the fact it is built on an Opel Insignia platform. The 2014 Buick Regal is a well-rounded sedan with a base price of $29,690 and the AWD version will cost a couple of grand more.
The Regal is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L direct-injected Ecotec 4-cylinder that makes 259 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for the AWD model is 19 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
