How to replace GEN3SYS® drill chamfer inserts

Описание: This video demonstrates how to replace the chamfer insert on a GEN3SYS XT replaceable insert drill. GEN3SYS XT high penetration drills utilize corner and cutting edge enhancements combined with our new AM300® coating to deliver more durability, reliability, and productivity.

STEP 1: Place the insert into the precision milled pocket on the holder. The holder pocket and the ground insert assure optimum fit and repeatability.

STEP 2: Apply a generous amount of EZ Break® (provided in packaging) onto the supplied TORX® Plus screw. Slowly tighten the screw down.

STEP 3: Tighten the TORX® Plus screw to the recommended torque value specified in the catalog by series. A preset Torx driver is available to assure that the proper torque is applied.

STEP 4: Repeat steps one through three to place the insert and TORX Plus screw on the opposite side.

STEP 5: ICS inserts can be removed and rotated for longer insert life.
