I was driving down this dusty road when I heard desperate cries – a beautiful pink flamingo mom was completely tangled in a white net on the barbed wire fence, struggling and calling out in pain. Right beside her, her tiny fluffy baby was standing helpless, beak wide open, crying non-stop with tears in its eyes 😢
My heart shattered seeing them like that. Without thinking twice, I grabbed my tools and ran to them. The mom was fully wrapped in the net, wings pinned, legs twisted, and she kept honking in distress while her baby paced around whimpering and looking up at me like "please help my mom"...
