ARIZONA BATTERED by SUPERCELL STORMS — Hail, Tornado Warnings & Flash Flooding (Latest Updates)

Описание: Severe storms battered Phoenix, Arizona, for a second consecutive day on October 21, 2026, unleashing destructive hail, powerful wind gusts, and widespread damage across the Valley. From Mesa and Scottsdale to north Phoenix, falling trees, smashed car windows, damaged roofs, and shattered business windows marked a dangerous stretch of extreme weather. A deadly incident involving windblown debris was also reported at Taliesin West in Scottsdale.

In this video... we examine the storm damage across Mesa, where large trees crushed vehicles and damaged property; destructive hail that battered north Phoenix and surrounding communities; unusual severe weather and tornado warnings across northern Arizona; and the growing threat of overnight flash flooding across the Phoenix metro area.

The danger extends beyond the damage already visible. Forecasters warned that parts of the Valley could receive more than an inch of rain overnight, with locally intense rainfall rates potentially overwhelming desert drainage channels, washes, and low-lying roads. A flood watch remained in effect into Thursday afternoon, while additional severe storms could bring large hail and damaging winds.

Residents are urged to avoid flooded roads and washes, stay away from windows during hailstorms, and move to higher ground if floodwaters threaten their vehicles. Conditions could remain hazardous Thursday before cooler, drier air arrives later in the week.
