Joseph Broderick, MD, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, discusses the results of the FASTEST trial (NCT03496883), which investigated the use of recombinant Factor VIIa for the treatment of hemorrhagic stroke. The study found that while it slowed bleeding, it did not improve overall outcome, but showed potential benefit in specific subgroups of patients. This interview took place at the 2026 International Stroke Congress (ISC), held in New Orleans, LA.
