Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 20MARCH2026 (first day of spring)

Описание: With the Vernal equinox at 0928 MDT still ahead, the California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0544 MDT (departure On Schedule). The power for this 8-car train was from P42s #176 (in Phase VII colors) and #203 (Operation Life Saver unit in Yellow and Black). The train was stopped with car 7 (coach) to the east platform for service to 4 new patrons. There were no detraining persons today. The station work was safely completed. The high ball was given. On a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr continued its westward trek with Union Station in Denver.
Please note the refurbished coach/baggage car with the bi-color stripe instead of the tricolor stripe on the side of the car. The word "Baggage" is also noted as the car rolled by the camera.
