The Kit-Cat Band play a really hot version of "Can't Your Friend Find A Friend For Me?", with great solos by Hugo Rignold, Ted Heath, Al Starita (on clarinet), Tom Smith, Sid Bright and Len Fillis.
This is one of the first of HMV's electrical recordings and as was the case with many of the company's early efforts using the newly installed Western Electric technology, it's rather on the heavy and loud side!
