US President Donald Trump has confirmed America struck a vessel off Venezuela’s coast, killing six men involved in drug trafficking.
In a post on Truth Social, the American leader said the vessel was “affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organisation” conducting “narco-trafficking”.
He wrote: “Intelligence confirmed the vessel was trafficking narcotics, (and) was associated with illicit narco-terrorist networks.
“The strike was conducted in international waters, and six male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike. No US forces were harmed.”
