Today I played the Outhold demo, a short incremental tower defense game that actively encourages you to find completely broken builds.
You start weak, fail quickly, and then spend your resources on permanent upgrades before trying again. I focused on a single tower, dumped everything into it, and watched the game slowly lose control of the situation.
The upgrade tree is deep, experimentation is free, and respeccing costs nothing, which makes it dangerously easy to chase overpowered synergies until everything on screen evaporates. Each run is short, addictive, and clearly designed to be abused.
If you like incremental games, tower defense, roguelike-style progression, or demos that let you become absurdly strong very quickly, Outhold is a great time.
