Antes de entrar a Los Gigantes, paramos en un mirador, esos que te obligan a bajarte del coche, respirar profundo y entender por qué este rincón de Tenerife impacta tanto la primera vez que lo ves. Fotos, risas y ese momento exacto en el que ves Los Gigantes por primera vez… y sabes que el día promete.
Llegamos al Royal Sun Resort.
Check-in rápido, sin complicaciones, mas que una habitación nos esperaba, nos sorprendió lo amplia, cómoda, cocina totalmente equipada y todo lo necesario para sentirte a gustito. El hotel cuenta con piscina para niños y piscina para adultos (un poco pequeñas para mi gusto), pero el ambiente es tranquilo, se come bien y lo más importante: las vistas son simplemente espectaculares.
Durante el recorrido conocimos una de las habitaciones más nuevas del resort… y ahí fue cuando lo entendimos todo.
Cocina nueva, baño nuevo, habitación preciosa, jacuzzi en la terraza, ducha amplia y una vista que te atrapa. Honestamente, sentimos que si te quedas en ese tipo de habitación no tienes ninguna necesidad de salir. Puedes cocinar, relajarte, disfrutar del jacuzzi, del paisaje… y quedarte allí todo el día sin sentir que te falta nada.
Terminamos el día como nos gusta: riéndonos, haciendo algunos retos en la terraza y disfrutando del momento.
En general, la experiencia nos encantó y sí lo recomendamos, especialmente las habitaciones nuevas. Son de esas estadías que te hacen pensar que a veces el verdadero plan es no tener que salir de la habitación.

🧡 MONDAY OF LOVE | A Place You Don’t Need to Leave the Room 🧡

Before entering Los Gigantes, we stopped at a viewpoint—one of those that makes you get out of the car, take a deep breath, and understand why this corner of Tenerife makes such a strong first impression. Photos, laughter, and that exact moment when you see Los Gigantes for the first time… and you just know the day is going to be special.
We arrived at the Royal Sun Resort.
Quick, hassle-free check-in. What awaited us was more than just a room—it truly surprised us. Spacious, comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need to feel at home. The hotel has a children’s pool and an adults’ pool (a bit small for my taste), but the atmosphere is calm, the food is good, and most importantly: the views are simply spectacular.
During our tour, we visited one of the newest rooms in the resort… and that’s when everything made sense.
New kitchen, new bathroom, a beautiful room, a jacuzzi on the terrace, a spacious shower, and a view that completely draws you in. Honestly, we felt that if you stay in this type of room, there’s no real need to go anywhere else. You can cook, relax, enjoy the jacuzzi and the scenery, and spend the entire day there without missing a thing.
We ended the day the way we like it best: laughing, doing a few fun challenges on the terrace, and simply enjoying the moment.
Overall, we loved the experience and we definitely recommend it—especially the newer rooms. It’s one of those stays that makes you realize that sometimes the real plan is not having to leave the room at all.
