Описание: This "Maned Sloth" (Bradypus torquatus), a vulnerable species, appeared around Christmas 2014 on my families property in the rainforest near Santa Maria de Jetiba, Espirito Santo, Brazil... It was climbing up a slope to the street when a truck driver alarmed my uncle to secure it. We thought it was looking for water, because the temperatures were really high and there had been no rain for quite a while, so we carried it to a creek (but he wasn't thirsty) so we released it further away from the street, into a safe tree. :)
