Did girls in Krakow ever really like foreigners? 🇵🇱

Through voice of mouth I heard that Krakow, a city that owns a special place in my heart (I used to live there years ago) has become a place where locals are now "fed up" with the huge presence of tourists and foreigners in general. Girls (and not only girls) find annoying all those guys who, arriving in groups during the weekends usually for some stag-party, think that Krakow is just a paradise for getting drunk and bothering the local pretty ladies. But isn't that the same "Krakow scene" we've been always used to? There always have been loud, obnoxious groups of stag-parties guys misbehaving but, outside this scenario, my memory clearly remembers local people being lovely and friendly to everybody.
"No, something has changed", insisted some of my friends who still live in the city. "They are really fed up with ALL the foreigners now, no matter what specific type".
As usual I felt a strong urge to go to see with my own eyes and do a little investigation on the field. What came out of it really surprised me. Not in a good way.
