Haleakalā National Park on Maui in Hawaii

Yes! I am currently living in Hawaii. I recently moved to Moloka'i Island. We decided to visit Maui Island on the weekend. We left from Molokai Airport via Mokulele Airline. We utilized this small plane to get to another island in Hawaii. It takes about 25-30 minutes to get to Maui Island from Moloka'i Island.

On Day 1, we hung out at the hotel which was not too far from Kahului Airport. We swam in the swimming pool, walked at the beach, and played Jenga at the hotel.

This trip was 2 nights 3 days. On Day 2, we drove to Haleakalā National Park. We stopped by 2 visitor centers. We drove all the way to Haleakalā Summit to enjoy this beautiful view. We decided to walk on the Sliding Sands Trail from
the visitor center. We didn't hike all the way down. We walked about 1 mile down and hiked back up to the parking lot.

After visiting Haleakalā National Park, we went to the southern part of Maui to grab some poke from Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors Kihei. We decided to eat lunch at Keawakapu Beach. After that, we went to Ho'okipa Beach Park to see sea turtles.

We had so much fun that day. We woke up early the next morning to get to the airport. We finally flew back to Moloka'i Airport to go back to our new life.
