If you have a Vespa starting problem then it could be a number of things. In this video I will take you through the steps I took which covers common scooter problems and problems with scooter not starting.
This model is the Vespa GTS 300 not turning over and focuses on the Vespa starting problem. This is a modern Vespa with fuel injection and no kick start. The steps in this video should be applicable for any modern Vespa that won't start or a modern motorcycle that won't start.

1:14 Small load test on battery.
1:30 Try to start Vespa & multimeter reading.
1:50 2nd thing to check.
2:41 3rd test attempt a jump start from another battery.
3:15 Engine warning light up on Dashboard, not good.
3:26 Disconnect jump start leads, not good.
3:49 Remove battery (Neg Cable first, Positive Cable next).
3:58 Order new battery & pickup.
4:12 Check new battery is the same as the old battery.
4:33 Fit new battery.
5:29 Connect the leads (Pos first, Negative next).
6:28 Cup of tea before I try to start.
6:49 4th test try to start.
7:30 Multimeter check battery to make sure it's charging.
