Toadie's Wild Ride" most commonly refers to an episode of Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears from 1985, featuring the scheming toad Toadwart (Toadie) getting catapulted into the Gummi Glen, but it can also be confused with Disneyland's beloved dark ride, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, based on Disney's The Wind in the Willows. Both involve chaotic journeys, but one is an animated TV segment about Toadie learning a lesson, while the other is a classic theme park attraction.

Glomgold sells a useless island to Scrooge, but upon learning that the island is rich in diamonds, he gets it back by trickery. Scrooge decides to travel back in time to prevent this from happening, but ends up in the distant past.
