Описание: RR Kabel is looking to raise close to Rs 1960 crore from its initial public offering. The IPO comprises of a fresh issue of Rs 180 crore and offer for sale of Rs 1780 crore. TPG is selling shares worth Rs 1330 crore, while the promoters are selling shares worth Rs 450 crore. The implied market capitalization on listing would be around Rs 11,700 crore.
The company will be using the proceeds from IPO to repay debt.
RR Kabel is into cables and wires (C&W) and fast-moving electrical goods manufacturing. It commands 5% market share in the C&W industry and has highest share of B2C mix in the C&W industry. It also sells its FMEG products under the ‘RR’ and ‘Luminous Fans and Lights’ brands.
