EHX Green Russian with MCE PULSE MOD | Gilmour and Pink Floyd sound

Описание: After weeks of work and study, here we are with this new collaboration with MCE Audio Electronic Devices. This time we worked on David Gilmour's Pulse lead tones with the Big Muff. We choose the Green Russian because it is the closest starting point, in terms of similarity with the Civil War.

About the mod:

ENG:
This mod operates on the frequency response of the pedal and onto the clipping behavior. The Tonestack has been modified to let the low frequency pass and reduce the clipping effect on the high-end.
This also change the dynamic response: the note’s attack is rounder than before due to the reduction of superior order harmonics. The clipping topology has been changed. The clipping is now asymmetric: a combination of led and germanium diodes has been used. This reduce the saturation in excess for a better touch responsive feeling.

La modifica agisce sulla banda passante del pedale e sul comportamento degli stadi di clipping. Il circuito dei toni è stato modificato per lasciar passare inalterate le basse frequenze e ridurre l’effetto di clipping sulle alte frequenze. Questo influenza anche il comportamento dinamico: l’attacco risulta più smorzato a seguito della diminuzione delle armoniche di ordine superiore. La topologia degli stadi di clipping è stata cambiata. Si è passati dal classico clipping simmetrico ad un clipping asimmetrico, tramite una combinazione di led e diodi al germanio, riducendo la saturazione eccessiva a vantaggio di una maggiore riposta al tocco.
