In this episode we take a tour of Futuro Verde, a bilingual non-profit school located on the Nicoya Peninsula, offering an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. With a bilingual education the key motivating factor in our move to Costa Rica, we were excited to visit Futuro Verde and learn more about the school’s philosophy.

Following our tour, we headed across the street to visit Complejo Deportivo Torogoz, a privately owned recreational center, providing after school sports and activities such as swimming, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Come along and see how our tour solidified our decision to settle down here in Montezuma.

UPDATE 11/9/2021: This video was filmed in April of 2021 when COVID restrictions had a big impact on in-person classes, requiring virtual learning. This is the first week of classes for the 2021-22 school year and we have expanded our facilities to accommodate the growing population of students, teachers and support staff. What a great time to be part of the Futuro Verde family!
