Caye Caulker is a Caribbean island off the cost of Belize. Island has a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Lots of water activities provided by different tour companies. It has the famous split where the island was split into two half by a hurricane in the 60's.
Landed at the Belize city airport (BZE).
$1 USD is equal to $2 BZE Dollars. USD are accepted everywhere without any problem.

Economic and Good restaurants would be

Good bar and place to hang out would be lazy lizard. It is located at the split.
Snorkeling provide by Caveman Tours Caye Caulker (https://cavemansnorkelingtours.com/)
One of the major highlight in San Ignacio would be the ATM cave tour. No cameras are allowed. It is an underground cave with river flowing through it. Some spots need to swam to cross. If you are non swimmer stick to the sides and grab on to the rocks. Very exciting, strenuous and adventurous tour. At the end o this tour lies human remains of sacrifices made by the Mayans. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Ignacio area.
Don't forget to visit TIKAL which lies in the country of Guatemala. The site is about 1.5-2 hrs drive from the Belize border. If entering from Belize departure fee needs to be paid to cross border ( $40 USD). TIKAL can be visited in one day and be back in Belize the sam day, depends on how deep you want to go with the tour. Guatemala is cheaper than Belize so it would be a good idea to buy souvenirs. Don't forget to try local pupusas with stuffed beans.
