The
New Manila International Airport (NMIA), also known as the Bulacan International Airport, is a ₱740-billion ($15-billion) mega-infrastructure project in Bulakan, Bulacan, developed by San Miguel Corporation (SMC). Designed to alleviate congestion at NAIA, the 2,500-hectare airport aims for a 2028 operational start with 4 parallel runways, expanding to 100 million passengers annually.

Location: Coastal site in Bulakan, Bulacan, approx. 35km north of Metro Manila.
Projected Capacity: Initial capacity of 35 million passengers per year, expandable to 100 million.
Key Features: Four parallel runways, a massive terminal, a 12,000-hectare "aerocity" township, and direct connections to expressways and railways.
Status: Land development is ongoing, with construction of the terminal building expected to begin in early 2026, aiming for a 2028 completion.
Developer: San Miguel Aerocity Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation.
Goal: To serve as a, if not the, primary international gateway for the Philippines and a major aviation hub in Southeast Asia.
