Let's hike one of our favorite hikes here in Alaska! Why is it our favorite? Because in just a few short miles, yes most uphill, you get the most incredible views of the Ocean, Mountains, Waterfalls, and the incredible Portage Glacier.
We took our nephew on this hike during his time here in Alaska and he and the boys had a great time exploring the small lake just below the top.
If you get a chance to visit Whittier in the summer on a sunny day, make sure you stop and do the Portage Pass hike. You won't regret it!
