This 15:22 guitar improvisation, "The Self-Immolation Rite," is composed and performed by Kian Tveitan as the conceptual capstone of the Self Immolation Rite series. Initially titled "Emanations: Sphere of the Moon," it traverses the entire lunar spectrum—modal jazz, romantic/lo-fi textures, folk undertones, experimental dissonance, and atmospheric tension—symbolizing ego destruction, reckoning ("Dies irae, dies illa"), and numinous rebirth.

Deeply inspired by Christos Beest / Richard Moult's original "The Self-Immolation Rite" and particularly Moult's *The Secret Joy*, the piece reflects my personal lens amid years of OSINT investigation into extremist networks. It forms part of the chronology: a deliberate creative pivot away from being perceived as "the O9A guy" (a label never embraced), toward experimental electronic/breakcore production—constrained by arthritis/chronic illness flare-ups limiting physical playing.
