Cats of the Clans is an odd book to discuss in a purely verbal format, as so much of its appeal comes from the beautiful illustrations paired along with each character. However, the biases and views of cats shown in this book by a subjective narrator are still important because of the impact they seem to have set into the fanbase at large and our perceptions of these characters we rarely see in a clear light.
