Okra Recipe/Okra (Ochro) Rice with Saltfish (Trinidad/Trini Okra and Rice)
This Okra Rice recipe is a hearty vegetarian dish which can at times include salted codfish. It is fantastic with or without the fish! I have included lentils, squash/pumpkin, okras, saltfish (salted Cod fish) and fresh herbs making it quite nutritious. Okra Rice is a traditional Caribbean dish, with many islands having a unique take on it. This is the best Okra Rice recipe and it includes easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. This is one of my favourite rice dishes and will soon be one of yours.
