Worlds Largest Stick Bomb (OFFICAL GUINNESS WORLD RECORD)

Описание: Ladies and gentlemen… IT’S OFFICIAL! The Natick High School Stick Bomb Squad has set the new world record for largest stick bomb at 31,370 sticks!
It took 15 builders 14+ hours of back breaking work to place down a total of nearly 50,000 sticks. While it may not have been the most successful explosion, it sure was the biggest!

The stick bomb was set up between June 8th and 9th, and was exploded at 2:00 PM on the 9th. The majority of the sticks were woven with the “cobra” weave, while a few thousand were woven with the “ortho” or square weave. Temperature, time and humidity caught up with the team on the second day as the wooden sticks began to bend, requiring the reconstruction of many previously built cobra sections, as well as some sections needing to be twisted on their side to increase the probability of a successful explosion. Upon detonation, multiple sections did not properly explode, yet it was still enough to get the new world record title (By a smashing 512 sticks!)
