The Secret In The Book: Cipher Wheel In Silver

Описание: Hi! I wrote a book a few years ago to help women in tech find jobs. Several incredible women contributed vignettes about their journeys as well, and we have been so happy with the response.

But there was a secret in the book, and only some people realized what they were looking at when they saw the shadows of code on the cover and the strange numeric illustrations on the chapter headers.

There was a journey of puzzles leading to a master challenge at the end, and a team has finally solved it. I always wanted to do a really great prize for the team that ended up solving the challenges, and here's the result: solid silver cipher wheels. Each one weighs over five troy ounces, and is a fully functional historic encryption/decryption device. They're being mailed out to the winners right now, and I hope to soon be able to share the original puzzle designers and the winning team with you all.

In the meantime, my collaborator on creating the puzzle wheels themselves was the cryptographer Jon Callas, and I think you all will agree: these are something really special. I'm proud to get to award them to the winners at last.
