Two firefighters were killed and four others injured in a building fire on Monday (Aug 18) morning in Osaka's Dotonbori shopping district, local authorities said. Among those injured, three were firefighters.
The fire started in a building in the popular Japanese tourist spot. The firefighters who died were trapped inside during efforts to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated, according to local media.
