Sky News Investigations Reporter Jonathan Lea says SIM swapping in the world of scams is among the "most sinister" and the "most dangerous”.
Mr Lea said however it is not the case that SIM swapping is “more prevalent”
“With other scams, you might sign away sums of money,” Mr Lea said.
“This you can lose your entire family fortune in effect over the course of a weekend and not actually know that’s it happening to you.”
