Honey - Nightmare Come To Life (Thrash/Crossover 2020 - USA)

Описание: Oh shit, if you're into flawless 80's Thrash Metal and don't know the Americans from HONEY yet, then you definitely have to change that. Their debut album NIGHTMARE COME TO LIFE threw me out of my socks to such an extent that I've been wasting my days on this junk ever since.
HONEY radiate absolute retro-feeling with their music, although the record actually comes up with a very good production. But if you know how to do it, then you can also manage to bring the desired old sounds to today's level without losing their charm. The quartet proves this impressively with a seemingly endless amount of awesome riffs and solid beating drumming. If I hadn't done any research, I would never believe that NIGHTMARE COME TO LIFE could be a debut album, because the whole package simply seems very well thought out and let's be honest, it works much too well. So I don't know if this band is a "supergroup" in the farthest sense, but they are definitely not beginners. The most hottest shit on the album is the dreamy touch, which starts in the middle of the album and sometimes even turns into wonderful singalongs. Roughly described HONEY are probably a well working and pretty groovy mixture of ANTHRAX, POWER TRIP and MUNICIPAL WASTE, which you should definitely have on your screen in the future and that is perfect for the first cold park bench beers in summer.
In terms of thrash/crossover, HONEY - NIGHTMARE COME TO LIFE is for me personally a first serious candidate for the album of the year. So do not waste any time and buy this motorcyle banger!
