Parliament Winter Session: All-Party Meet To Be Held Today; INDIA Bloc Leaders to Convene Tomorrow

Описание: As the Winter Session of Parliament is set to begin on Monday, a key all-party meeting was held today to ensure the smooth functioning of the House. India Today's Senior Editor Himanshu Mishra reports that the Business Advisory Council (BAC) of both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha also convened at 4 pm to decide the session's agenda. The Opposition INDIA bloc is scheduled to meet tomorrow at 10 am at the chamber of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge. Mishra highlights that the 'S.I.R. issue has been a hot topic for a long time' and is expected to cause commotion, referring to the Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls which the Opposition intends to question. The government has appealed for cooperation to discuss issues according to parliamentary rules.
