The open road | Hiking in Berg en Dal | Cinematic story DJI Mavic Air 2 & Canon EOS R

Описание: I love springtime! The landscape in this magical time of year invites you to put on your hiking shoes, step outside and travel the open road. Hiking the hills, forests and riverscapes of my hometown Berg en Dal in The Netherlands makes me think about the words from Walt Witman and his poem ‘Song for the open road.’ This video is a tribute to his beautiful poem:

Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road, healthy, free
The long brown path before me leading wherever I choose

Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune
Strong and content I travel the open road

Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing
Done with indoor complaints

The earth, that is sufficient

My wife Martine helped me with bringing this cinematic poem to life. I thank her for helping me with this film project and off course mother nature for her wonderful gift!

The film was shot with a DJI Mavic Air 2 and a Canon EOS R. I used a Weebill S gimbal for stabilising the shots.
