VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction
[1:03] The dye colors
Electric violet, emerald green, and intense iris 1% stock solutions
[1:49] The yarn
presoaked in plain tap water overnight
[2:34] The dyebath
24 cups of water 6 Tablespoons of white vinegar
Electric violet 30 mL of 1% stock solution
heat up until hot
[5:02] dip dyeing in electric violet
Add 30 mL more of the electric violet color so we can build it up
[8:09] Rotating the zip ties
[10:01] Dip dyeing in Intense iris
30 mL of intense iris dye
[13:12] Rotating the yarn
[15:06] Dip dyeing in emerald green
15 mL ( 1 Tbsp)
leave part of the yarn in the pot, then add another 2 T white vinegar Wait 10 min.
[18:59] Steam setting the yarn
heat for 30 min with yarn mop immersion on the bottom
let it cool completely before washing
[20:49] Washing the yarn
[22:55] The finished dry yarn and conclusions
